Your Insured Deposits Member deposits are insured by National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) up to at least $250,000 for non-IRA deposits and $250,000 for IRA deposits. Deposits in accounts with joint owners, or those with beneficiaries, can qualify for additional insurance, based upon ownership interests and rights. The NCUA is a U.S. Government Agency, and it's insurance fund, the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund, is backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government. For further clarification of the NCUA's Share Insurance program, and to help determine your insurance coverage, visit the NCUA website at www.ncua.gov, click on Share Insurance and proceed to NCUA Share Insurance Estimator. This will help you understand your share insurance protection.
